Edge Polisher Equipment (Outer)
The equipment is used for removal of dendrite attaches on both strip edges.
Advantages
- Both strip edges (about 1.0mm inside from strip edge - UPPER/LOWER) are polished by specially-shaped brush roll.
- Wave phenomenon which might happen when strip gauge is thin (under 0.4mm) can be reduced by adjusting support roll position.
- The equipment moves from open-limit position to brushing position in high speed by edge detecting device.
